Disney On Ice somehow keeps outdoing itself. Show after show, this brilliant production team behind the brand finds ways to make an already exciting show even more enchanting. “Mickey’s Search Party” skated through BB&T Center Sept. 16 with Disney character favorites including Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy and skating segments from “Toy Story,” “Beauty And The Beast,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin” and “Frozen,” however, with this show, Disney enhanced the magic by adding elaborate routines from “Coco,” “Moana,” and “Peter Pan.” This show featured giant swaying skeletons from the spirit realm for “Coco” and plenty of high-flying acrobatics. Disney On Ice is always a fun family outing. After heading to American Airlines Arena Sept. 27-30, the show then hits North Carolina Dec. 13-16 before continuing its tour around America. The quest to find Tinkerbell keeps the show exciting as audience participation is invited to help find everyone’s favorite pixie. My son Jack, who just turned 4 this month, was in awe of seeing Moana and Maui gliding across the ice. This particular production kept him on the edge of his seat and even got him up dancing quite a bit.

Disney On Ice then returns to BB&T Center March 28-31, 2019 for Frozen. Continue to check out Disneyonice.com for the latest updates on upcoming events.
