Is your daughter a Broadway baby? “WAITRESS,” the Tony nominated musical premiering at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts is looking for two young girls to perform the role of “Lulu” during the show’s April 11-22 run. 

Auditions for Lulu will take place:

Tuesday, March 6 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM and 1:00PM to 3:00PM
at Broward Center for the Performing Arts at the JM Family Studio Theater in the education building.

Here are some tips on getting there. (201 Southwest 5th Avenue Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33312). Please enter through the backstage door.

Backstage Parking: From Broward Boulevard turn South onto SW 7th Avenue (Avenue of the Arts). Turn left at West Las Olas Blvd (the second light). Take an immediate left into the backstage lot security gate. If you have a key card, hold it up to the reader and the gate will open -OR- Push the buzzer to contact guard, identify yourself and guard will let you enter.

 

Who: Girls ages 4 to 5 (no older than 5 years and 3 months). Those eligible for auditioning must be shorter than 4’2″.

Auditions are by appointment only. Space is limited to the first 60 applicants to sign up.

The audition will consist of the child reading two lines from the show. If possible, parents should bring a current head shot and resume for each child. Head shot, resume and prior acting experience is not required.
